Agree the collection terms
Ask for the arrival window, any recovery charge, cancellation terms and the contact to use if plans change. Get the net quote and material conditions in writing.
Check who is collecting
Confirm the business name before handing over the vehicle. Ask whether the collector operates the treatment facility or transports cars to another business.
Keep the handover clear
Take belongings out first and keep a receipt identifying the vehicle, business and agreed payment. Follow up on the actual destination and applicable paperwork.
